私たちの目的は「完璧であること」ではないのだ。ゴールというのは、批判されないほど完全なものをつくれるようになるまで手をひっこめていることでもない。私はその逆が真実だと思っている。私たちの生まれながらの権利は「失敗」することで、しかも何度も失敗することだ。ただし、「失敗」は私たちがそれまで想像だにしていなかった大きなものに挑戦し、それを探し求めてのことであるべきだ。そうでないなら、全ては無駄になってしまう。
